Has anyone else experienced this. I am thinking it might be a faulty ignition, or I may have the HEI wire on the wrong spot in the panel. The PO had a rats nest in their is the reason I changed the harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What terminal do you have the +12v wire from the HEI plugged into on the fuse panel. It should be on the "IGN UNFUSED" terminal. Also, do you have a Yellow wire connected to the "R" terminal on the starter?
