The fittings on your sending unit are metric o-ring, I believe M14x1.5 and M16x1.5, if I recall correctly. You can get adapters to convert to AN. Don't cut them off for compression fittings, that's a downgrade since you already have threaded fittings.

Also, those fittings you have listed above are correct. One 3/8 for the fuel supply, one 5/16 for the fuel return. Braided stainless line for the whole length will work, but I would use braided stainless hose to jump to a hard line down the frame, and then back to a braided line from the front of the hard line to the engine. That's just me though, since I tend to have tubing on hand and have all the fittings, unions, and bending tools to do it.

If you do go for full length braided hose, make sure it is PTFE lined! A lot of the AN hose on the market is not very compatible with ethanol fuel and can get soft over time. The PTFE lined hose does not have this problem, but you have to use specific fittings and "olives" with it. Make sure you get it all from one manufacturer.
