I'm a big L6 fan. Currently working on install of a built 292 [.030-over, crane cam, 1.84 intake valves, rhoads lifters, badger pistons] back into my '68 stepside. I have sometimes felt a pro-V8 bias on this forum, compared to Inliners.Org or the Stovebolt Page, but this one has a more mainstream following. Sometimes it's good to know how the "real world" thinks. They'll never change my opinion, I've been driving the same 292 since before most of them were born. LOL. Sure I'll join a club, I'm already an active Inliner (#4101), but since they upgraded their website forum, I can't post there. It's a problem on my (Web-TV) end. Besides, V8s make better boat anchors -- the extra weight and wide angle help it set in the silt and hook on coral much better than the lighter, flatter L6.
