for the tailgate trim, the outer ends have nuts behind that need to be removed. the rest of the long trim pieces have normal push-in trim clips. the handle has barrel nuts that push in. you simply go behind them with a thin flat tool and pry the trim pieces off. carefully obviously. there may be plastic tools designed for this, i'm just not aware of them.

the cab paint divider trim slides over small plastic clips which slide over the studs on the cab. start on the ends (closest to the doors) by carefully reaching behind the trim and sliding the plastic clips off the studs. once you get the 2 or 3 clips removed from near the cab corner, you can slide the whole trim piece off at once.
