They did send a new gasket, made by Precision, but it didn't fit at all. So we were forced to reuse the old gasket. Guy promised it wouldn't leak, but we had rain this week, and its leaking in the lower driver side corner. So I called him back and he said he could "glue" or seal it in. he said he didn't do that before?

I wanted to ask you:
1)Is the glue the correct way to do this? Or did he just do a bad job the first time?
2)Can you tell me what manufacturer/part number you use for the gasket?

My truck isn't perfect, but its original paint and id hate to see the dash rust

thanks!
On rubber gaskets the correct sealant is liquid butyl rubber. It stays flexible and doesn't harden up. Whatever you do, don't let them use silicone. You will regret it forever.
