Are your sure about this? My 71 GM resto pack shows 4:10 for all small block's and trannys combos except 307 V8 with powerglide or 350 or 307 V8 with a 3 speed column shift. Those got 4:57 gears. This is true for both Corp and Dana axles. (Dana's are actually 4.56 )

All 250's got 4:57 , the 292 got them only with the 3 speed.

The 402 got 3:54 dana only, except the longhorn with the leaf rear. It got 4:10 dana with the BB
