Did you try the fenders on the truck before you panted them? When I did my 1965 pickup back in 2001 I was able to get one of the last sets from the GM parts dept up here. The right fender fit great but the left was a major problem. When the vertical rear hat shaped support was fitted to the fender it was suppose to go under the rear lip before it was folded over but mine was set against the lip instead of under it thus moving the fender back when mounted. It overlapped the door by about 3/8" so had to bend the lip back. drill out spot welds and put the support in the proper place and then back together. Worst problem was we elongated the mounting holes into the skirt by 3/8" so the washers don't cover all the holes. Hope you don't experience the same situation with your N.O.S. factory fenders
