The Horsepower TV engine was built by Scott Shafiroff Race Engines and Components (
www.shafiroff.com), a
very well known name in drag racing.
His web site doesn't yet have the 472 listed, but a 595 horsepower 434 cubic inch small block Chevrolet retails for $8995 (assembled, but less carb and ignition). Turn-key, pump gas power, baby!
