As stated above, it's a flame arrestor. It is not considered to be a normal service replacement item. Why do you feel you need to replace it? My 1969 service manual recommends this:
"Remove the flame arrestor and wash in solvent, then dry with compressed air."
I believe as long as it permits the free flow of air, all is well.
