Bought my 1965 l last August...about to change out the engine and trans (since they aren't original). I am deciding on engine now..will put a Tremec 600 5 speed trans in. Going to get it driving well as a daily driver, then slowly restore the rest of it. While the engine is being replaced, I am going to restore a gauge cluster I picked up on ebay a few weeks ago. It already has been converted to 5 lug, power steering, and front discs. The gas tank was moved to the rear, but is only a 10 gallon tank! So I need to put a larger tank in. I just love the truck!
