That VIN (and probably the cab) are for a V8 1971 GMC 1500 (1/2 ton) 4x4 with a wideside (fleetside) bed. Assembled at the Fremont, CA plant.
Engine specifics and wheelbase are indeterminate from the VIN.

Does the glovebox door have the option sticker (SPID)?
Does the VIN plate match the number on the title?
