Re: Bought my first classic Chevy truck... I think?
Based on all of the very helpful information you have given me I am inclined to believe that my truck is a (1969?) CHEVY bog block truck, non-4x4 with the cab (and corresponding door VIN tag) from a 1972 GMC K1500. Ive attached pics of the front and rear suspension.
I'm going to check the frame VINs as soon as I have the time to get some elbow grease in there. I'm also going to see about IDing the block based on SS Tim's info.
Sorry for the newbie questions, but how (aside from the # of lugs and VIN designation can I tell if it is a 1/2, 3/4, ton or 1 ton?
