Possibly what he thought was ivory was this packing that was square and off white (last pic). I called him yesterday morning about it and he said he would not open up all the bubble wrap but assured me it was all there for a 63 and that it was complete. I thought what the heck, I am 2 hours away and would drive down there first thing today and check it out. I set up a 9:00 to 9:30 am time to come look at it. When I got there he said there was a guy from Canada who had a friend in San Diego that was going to come look at it and a guy from New York that had a son stationed at Camp Pendleton that was also going to come look at it. It belonged to his neighbor, the neighbor sold his truck, moved and left the AC unit behind.

Hes going to lay it all out and have his friend take more pictures he said. I wish it were a cool pack !

He said yes to all the questions I asked and told me that the condenser at the bottom of the box was just like new, as you can see it is rotten and when you touch it pieces just fall off. Nice guy, looked like he was in his mid 70's. He just wanted his space back under his back porch where it was all sitting.
I offered the guy $250 and he said yes so fast that he probably would have taken $200. I was going to come on here and show pics of my new find and I saw this thread
