I'm a hands-down T400 fan. But just out of experience, I had a '81 Chevy 4x4 with 35" mudders on it. I had that thing burried more times than I can remember. This truck had the T350 in it, and bone stock to boot. That tranny lasted me 9 years!! So don't be scared of it, if that is what you already have. Like stated above, have it rebuilt with good parts, and you will have no problems with it.
