Re: Steering wheel input needed.
I have been eyeing the Momo Eagle steering wheel for my truck which is also flat bottomed. Leg room getting in and out is needed, so traditional looks will have to take a back seat to function. Right now I have a small round wheel and have to have the tilt column up one click in order to exit. My column is an automatic with selector and will be changed out for a manual without tilt which I plan to shorten to increase distance to the wheel. Moving the wheel away actually lessens leg room, hence needing the flat bottomed wheel. My truck build is more on the traditional side, with aluminum rally wheels, truck mirrors and tail lights, (step side) so the wheel will look out of place. The truck is lowered way down though so it doesn't look like a restoration.
I say go for it. It's not all about looks. Function and feel are important.
