So I think I figured this out. Theres a guy down the street who has a pretty 57 bbw truck and I suspected it was an original V8 truck. I jammed down there to see if he truck would reveal any secrets!!! Sure enough, the core support bracket is bolted in place closer to the engine. Now I just need to cut mine off and reposition!!!
