That was my plan. I have another windshield I'm planning to put in it and was going to paint the top while I had it out, but now I kind of like the gray.
The truck was in pretty bad shape when I got it. I fixed it good enough to drive and after driving it for 10 years I figured it earned a little TLC. I've been fixing one thing at a time and it's starting to come together. I have a new motor and trans in it and now I'm starting on brakes. I plan to pull the bed off next summer and install new trailing arms and wood floor. The bed has a wood floor with diamond plate over the wood. The wood has started to rot and causing the bed to shift. I'm thinking of redoing the wood with pressure treated lumber and leaving the diamond plate over the wood. This is a long term project for me and I have lots of other things planned for it. I hope to have it finished for it for it's 50th birthday.
