my experience has been that a 40 year old truck is way too old to still match its paint code, the sun and weather in general has taken its toll on the paint, also the paint itself has changed over the years well at least in California where now they want to sell you water based junk
beautiful step side by the way, please keep it as a step side and you got lucky and still got the handsome round lights which were on the 73-79s, good luck with your restoration, I would focus on the mechanical stuff first anyway, and let the [ahem] patina speak for itself
