The gas adjust KYB shocks are one step up from what comes in the kit. They are gas charged and not a bad shock overall. Both compression and rebound are much improved over the excel G shocks. I have used them before on older cars and they work quite well. Will be interesting to see how the CPP shocks compare at a very similar price point.
