I just bought a set of VHX gauges from a board vendor, saved a lot over the Dakota retail price. Check the vendors market place, there's a couple guys offering Dakota summer sales. The price on the HDX could come down some, but Dakota recently raised prices across the board a few months ago.

I like the new series but couldn't justify the cost for a 350 powered truck. I used to hate the dakota gauges until I saw they make analog versions now, and a truck club member had one in his truck... I was sold.
