Never heard of an LT9 before. But to answer your Q's:
1- great idea.
2- horrible idea. The Torker is the worst single plane intake out there, and even a great single plane manifold is a huge mistake.
3-yes, a smaller cam is a great idea. RV is a generic term that doesn't really mean anything.
