I know this is a very old thread, but how low do these tri-y headers hang below the frame?
I'm contemplating buying the tri-y's for a Chevelle to put on my 72 C-10 so the collectors are above the bottom of the frame. I've got aftermarket crossmembers so the exhaust will stay above the frame all the way out.
