Here are some pictures of my L6 manifolds and a
VIDEO too. That was my worn out 250ci but it sure did run good. I use a paste called
Calyx. It is not a paint. I'm pretty sure many different vendors sell it. Apply and touch up with an old tooth brush. It will not flake or chip since it isn't a paint. I think it's just a paste with graphite mixed in, but I could be wrong. Anyway, it lasts about 6 months before touch up is needed (depending on humidity etc.). It gives a cast iron look. I also use it on cast iron parts like brake master cylinders etc.
The nice thing is that you can touch it up without removing the parts or masking other parts like would be necessary with spray paint.
Just mentioning this as an option. Not saying it's better. It is what I prefer over high temp paint.
