I did a bunch of work to my Chevelle about 5 years ago. After putting it back together I took it to the alignment shop and on my way home someone slammed on their brakes in front of me. I tried to brake but I slid into him. It was about a 5-10mph impact. Enough to push the left side of the bumper into the fender because I turned right trying to avoid the impact. I was bummed to say the least. The car had all original sheet metal. I kept the car and it's on it's way to be a pro touring beast. It's good that you are putting the effort in. Some people would just sell it and be done with it.
