This might give you a perspective:
I bought a 1996 LT1 with 6 speed tranny with 45k miles on ebay 3 years ago for 3,000 plus ship. I would guestimate that since it is a 1994, and LT1 engine tranny combos are going for around 1500 now, that you wold only probably see around 500.00 for it.
That is just my opinion on the way I see the depreciation going. I hope that helps more than it hinders.
