You may already know this, but not all T56's are the same.
Many had different torque ratings, and they came in Chevys, Fords, and Dodges... and they don't interchange.
The Chevy T56s came behind a LT1 and then a different T56 came behine a LS1 from '98-on camaros, and of course the '97+ corvette used yet another T56.
The 93-97 Camaro T56s are a little easier to get mounted behind a pre-LT1 engine... so they sell for a bit more than the '98+ T56s.
I'll give you $300 if you promise that it is a good tranny.
