Post TBI fuel injection from Affordabe Fuel Injection

http://www.affordable-injection.com/
I came across this site when surfing the web. I am pretty interested in their TBI open-loop fuel injection system, the brand new one for $945. Has anyone ever dealt with this company? Is the complete kit for $945 a pretty good deal? Also, would i have to switch to a 87-up distributor if i converted? Is the open loop system better, since it measures fuel demand from coolant temp, and other things instead of just the O2 sensor?

Part # AFI1000 - $995
Full function, closed loop TBI system includes:
-new two bbl TBI unit
-complete wiring harness
-ECT, MAP, O2 sensor
-external mount fuel pump and filter
-fuel pump relay
-ECM with AFI specially calibrated chip

*ECM controlled HEI distributor option from $200.00

(the one i want)-
Part # AFI1001 - $945
-Specially AFI calibrated full time open loop system
(no O2 sensor required)
