I have no experience with that distributor. I have, however, had experience with both the Accel, and Proform GM licensed distributors. The Proform one was a much better build quality compared to the Accel. Both come in between $120-150 depending on where you find them.

Some folks have had good luck with the Skip White distributors, which are inexpensive as well.

It's not a drop in and go installation, as the wiring needs to be changed to facilitate a full 12 volts to the distributor. The current wiring has a built in resistance, that will not allow the HEI to function well, if at all.
