I would like to see tests on the one above. I don't think it will help all that much is hard numbers. The dryer hose has too many pleats, this make turbulance. You want a nice smooth path for the air to come in. Turbulant air is not any better than the air inside your engine compartment. If you took that air box and had tubes made for it, that would work. Not to mention, I don't see any air filter unless it's under the box. So you would suck in everything that was in front of you.
