Im going to assume that pickups are the same as blazers at least up on the grille area. I had a 74 I was building and once I had the correct center support I was able to mount it there. I know I was able to do something to mount on the ends but I forget exactly how I did it but I was able to use a 74 grille ( same as 73) with the 70 core support
