Re: Ratchet's Blazer - 1970 2wd with Original paint

I forgot to add pictures of the finished engine... The air cleaner is going to get taken off, blasted, and powdercoated so that it looks better, I had 15 minutes to wire-wheel it and paint it before I hit the road. I also need to clean and paint the alternator and clean up the wiring. I was in way too big of a rush to get it out the door.

I trailered it home from Cruisin' the Coast yesterday and promptly took a nap, I was worn out. Tonight on my way home from the office, I will get some more transmission fluid and try to flush out more of the milky fluid. If it still isn't working just right, I might add a little posi friction modifier, I've been told it might help. If it doesn't work, I'm on the fence about what I should do... T56?, NV4500?, SM-465 with GV?, or rebuild/replace the 700-R4. We'll see what kind of dumb ideas I can come up with, I'm sure whatever I decide on, it will cost more than I expect.
