Yup, check that timing and run some SeaFoam through that carb. Surging is indicative of a lean condition and if she's been sitting awhile you can bet that stuff called gasolie has deteriorated and mix that with a lean out of the box Edlebrock carb? Probably starvin for some real life 87 pure high test...Might run an inline filter between the pump and the carb once the carb proves clean...~Ghostrider~
