Replace the hold-down bolts with studs. Then use wing nuts to hold seat down. That way all you need to do is remove the wing nuts to pull the seat. This still takes a little time, but its quicker than backing the bolts all the way out with a socket wrench. I thought about using some sort of cotter pin instead of the wingnuts, but couldn't figure out how to provide the necessary clamping force with a cotter pin to properly secure the seat and prevent rattling.
