With 15" wheels, installing 2" lowering blocks puts the bottom side/surface of the trailing arms below the bottom of the rim.
1-1/2" blocks are maximum or you'll have to go bigger diameter wheels or of course 4" drop springs.

It's a safety issue should you ever have a tire blow, the trailing arm would contact the pavement and not the rim, and when that happens you skid uncontrollably like a skateboard on ice ...
