It was my work truck.Now,I'm retired.

A young guy i worked with needed a ride home one day,so i said o.k.,jump in.
I always back into the parking space for a quick get a way.
So,I took off in first.
When I shifted to second,he grabbed the dash and yelled---"What are you doing?You're gonna kill us!"!
He'ed never seen a three on the tree and was really scared!Said he thought I'd put it in park.
