I don't normally read Super Chevy as it has no vehicles I am currently interested in it an I could give a rip on how many ways you can do 55 Chevy cars or 68.

If I wasn't building a totally traditional custom truck with a them set in the mid/late 50's I'd be hunting an Ls engine to put in my truck. Serious performance level, the potential of great fuel mileage, longevity of the engine it's self. That means no backwards nonsense of sticking a carb on it or other regressive work because you want the modern engine but not the modern system though.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
