Get the proper bracket if you can. The mounting holes should be there. The rear belt drives a single pulley alternator and the front belt drives a single pulley PS pump. I had a double groove crank pulley but needed to replace the single water pump pulley with a double.
I got the PS box and collapsible shaft from a 67. That worked out well because the 66 shaft had been ruined by failure of the lower bearing.
