Sometimes if the pump is stuck,you can try reversing the polarity.It may or may not work again.
Probably corrosion causing the problem.
I recently had to pull the tank on a 89 G-30 van because the pump was running but not pumping.The short hose on the sending unit was blown out!
These tanks are a pain to get out!
Govt.corn gas again.
