Thanks for the reply. Yeah I know these tanks can be a pain, that's why I'll go ahead and just pull the bed. Plus I wanna put on a straight bumper, better hitch, and tidy up the rear wiring harness.

I would think that hooking power to the pumps gray wire and grounding to a freshly ground spot on the frame would kick the pump on as long as the pump is grounded properly. Am I correct or am I missing something?
