I need more range in my 69 Suburban!!! I'm looking at swapping out the 21 gal. tank for a 42 gal.
Has anyone tried the
diesel tank for a 94 to 99 Suburban? I'm curious if the stock sending unit from my 69 will fit the newer
diesel tank. If not then I would be looking at the
gas 42 gal. tank from a 92-97 Suburban. Same question though, will the sending unit from my 69 work on the newer one? The problem I see with the
gas tank is it has 2 extra holes in it that I would have to figure out how to plug.
