Here is a picture. Maybe you can find the answer to your question in this? You'll see the support bracket underneath that I referenced. Also the hard lines going to the prop valve "apparently" need to be reversed if you use a 1 ton MC. I can't swear as to why exactly, but I did it per AJS72K5's post and it works great.
My only guess is that the front reservoir is smaller than the rear on the MC, if you were to run low on fluid, maybe the thought was you'd run out on your rear brakes first and know there was a problem before the fronts went.....
