I was out in southern California last fall for the first time, unbelievable what they have out there for old iron.

In terms of the new bedsides, if you're building a nit pick 100 point show truck, they just don't 100% look right. If you're building a nice restored truck to cruise around in, 99% of the people that will see it will have no idea they're repops. The metal on them is comparable to factory, maybe a tick thinner. The best thing about them is they're e-coated inside and out, whereas the factory sides develop rust inside them and above the wheel wells.

Overall, you'll be happy with them, but I'm a stickler for GM stuff so I've been trying to repair a rusty OEM set.
