your problem may go away when you replace your starter. [unless it is a remote wiring issue]. Every time this has happened to me, it is the bushing on the very end of the starting motor has either broken or worn , allowing the bendix to stay engaged after shutting off the key. I have had this happen with a brand new big chain parts store starter too. I would check that first, and if that's it, it's an easy fix.
