I have never looked into swapping a later frame but from what bits and pieces I have seen posted it includes some major fab work. Here is a thread on the subject....

As far as the '67-'72 pickup and suburban I know the body mounts are different and the suburban frame is longer in the rear and steps down.

Hopefully others will chime in with suggestions.
