The service manual for a 50 chevy truck that you can get as a reproduction has a real goo set of instructions for adjusting the hood an nose.
If you don't have one you should even if the truck is highly modified.
First price is 37 and change but click on the "buy new" for 19.00 and up and there are at least two for 19.00 with 3.99 shipping. I've got a copy of the pages somewhere on Photobucket but can't find it right now.
