There is a slim chance your frame may already have the dimple. My '67 did. You might want to confirm on yours before ordering parts.

Your existing steering linkage should work with the newer box. I originally converted mine with a box off an '86 3/4 ton with that pittman arm and it bolted right up. I did have the metric threads for the hoses to deal with, but I just swapped the bung in my P/S pump from the '86 and used the newer hoses. TX Firefighter did a thread on this IIRC.
