I used Loctite 3X construction adhesive from Home Depot. Grip the rivets with pliers to close them slightly then apply the adhesive sparingly with a tooth pick to the underside of the letters then push the rivets back through the holes and open them up with a phillips screwdriver, apply a smear of adhesive over the rivets. Weight them down until dry (overnight). The construction adhesive will glue to virtually anything and my last ones were done over 6 years ago. Good luck, Capt Roger
