Reviving this very old thread. What's the danger of over torquing when setting the bearing? Doing a disk brake conversion. I just did mine and realized my torque wrench was set to 25 ft lbs. I backed it off to line up the cotter pin. I reset it to 15 but I'm afraid I may have damaged something.
