OK, so I did some more research. The rear and the front both have GM 10 bolts, probably 8.5"? The first year of the GM 10 bolt was 1979.

The first year of the 700R4 was 1982

The first year of the 454 was 1970 I think.

Is it safe to assume I have a 1982+ frame and leaf springs for a 1982-1986/87 4WD 2500 will fit!
