If it were mine, Id figure out how to stop the decay as much as possible, get the mechanical sorted out (meaning make it safe and fun to drive), drive the wheels off of it while figuring out what to do with the body and who you're gonna hire to do it.
I think that most everyone here has seen way worse trucks (rust and otherwise) come back from the dead. From what Ive seen from yours, if it ran, Id rock that all day, every day and twice on Sunday!

Not to mention as you start getting the mechanical done and driving you will for sure wind up talking to people who have classics and can recommend a body man, if that's the route you decide to take. That looks like original paint, and it's only original once. People pay good money for a weathered rig like that.
